Crown & Bridge

Crowns are also called 'Caps'. The affected tooth is reshaped so that it can be augmented by a natural-looking synthetic material, usually porcelain. This procedure is also beneficial for teeth that show wear and tear or are crooked. Also, crowns are put on a tooth that had root canal treatment done.

Bridges are vital in protecting not only the balance of your bite and chewing motion, but the integrity of your facial features as well. A person who leaves missing teeth unattended may permanently alter the shape and contour of his or her face. Bridges easily restore not only the balance of the mouth, but typically look and feel as natural as your own teeth.

Dental Implants

For some people, dental implants offer a smile that looks and feels very natural. Surgically placed below the gums over a series of appointments, implants fuse to the jawbone and serve as a base for individual replacement teeth, bridges or a denture.

Implants offer stability because they fuse to your bone. Integration of the implants into your jaw also helps your replacement teeth feel more natural and some people also find the secure fit more comfortable than conventional substitutes.

Candidates for dental implants need to have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant. A thorough evaluation by your dentist will help determine whether you are a good candidate for dental implants.

Steps Of Dental Implant Procedure:

Implant procedure consists of three steps.

1. Implant Placement

First step is the Implant surgery in which a titanium screw is implanted in the jaw bone where tooth is missing.

2. Abutment & Crown Impression

After 3-5 months of healing period, the Abutment and Crown procedure is started in which doctor takes an impression of the implant site and sends it to the lab. Lab makes the crown based on those impressions.

3. Crown Delivery

Once the crown comes back from lab, patient comes back for the crown delivery.

To ensure the most natural and comfortable result, dentures must be custom fit to an individual's mouth and gums. Dentures that are correctly developed and fitted will restore a natural looking and secure bite and smile.

This effective cosmetic procedure involves bonding a thin layer of porcelain to the prepared tooth surface.
